Mapperley Park, well known throughout the sector for its excellence, setting the standard for aesthetics courses and training, has now formally rebranded to Mapperley Park Aesthetics Training Academy and is excited to announce the launch of three innovative and accredited BTEC qualifications that provide credible, quality training and development in lasers.
Established in 1993, Mapperley Park provides training from industry experts, as well as offering the largest portfolio of courses within the aesthetic sector. The Academy has recently undergone a complete transformation to create a state-of-the-art facility that is setting the bar for training of its kind in the UK.
Mapperley Park offers a wide range of laser and injectable courses that are designed to enable practitioners to develop their knowledge, understanding and confidence, its new BTEC laser courses were launched earlier this month at the UK’s Premier Aesthetics Conference, FACE 2016.
Glenda Bailye-Bray, Head of Learning and Development, comments: “We are extremely excited about the relaunch of Mapperley Park Aesthetics Training Academy, as well as our new accredited BTEC courses. In a continually evolving industry, our suite of courses in laser and injectable training provide practitioners of every level with the training required to be at the forefront of the industry, using the latest technology and techniques.”
The three new qualifications provide a development pathway for all those working with or who wish to work with lasers in the aesthetics sector, the new courses include; a BTEC L4 Award, L5 Award and L5 Certificate in Laser and Light Therapies. Selected injectable courses available at Mapperley Park also attract CPD points.
Talking about the new BTEC courses, Glenda continues: “We are continually looking to develop the newest and most advanced courses available. We wanted to ensure that we could provide the best possible courses, as we continue to set the bar for aesthetics training.”
In a largely unregulated industry, Mapperley Park Aesthetics Training Academy has set the highest standard for aesthetic training, working closely within HEE guidelines, which is currently campaigning for a more regulated industry.
