Medical Aesthetics is proud to announce the very special award win for Oxygenetix for the Best Cosmetic Surgery Product or Device at the 2014 MyFaceMyBody Awards held on the 1st November 2014 at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London.

Founder Barry Knapp and UK Director Kameron Pearson flew in from California especially to attend the show and pick up the well-deserved award in the category most fitting for the product. Since its arrival this summer, Oxygenetix has gained many more stockists in leading clinics and doctors’ surgeries with its post-procedural positioning being of great interest to many specialists, who welcome the products ability to diminish their patient’s social downtime.

Those who stock Oxygenetix often make it a part of the treatment package or surgical procedure so that patients are assured that any sign of their procedure will be disguised and they can return to normal life immediately. A very satisfactory consequence of this is the increase of bookings throughout the week and in the middle of the day, as patients do not have to consider the recovery time when making the bookings.

‘I apply Oxygenetix to all my patients after a facial procedure to cover redness, scaring and bruising. I then give them the bottle to continue to use at home as and when needed. It has increased the bookings of a number of invasive treatments because the downtime is eliminated. I also find that many clients continue to buy the foundation because it is also a brilliant everyday makeup product.’ Dr Elisabeth Dancey, Bijoux Medispa.

Knapp joined the panel of judges and had the gruelling task of voting for the best in each category and consumers were also invited to vote online. The MyFaceMyBody Awards are the only aesthetic and dentistry awards which give consumers a voice in their favourite brands, products and services which makes the awards even more significant. In addition to the judging panel comprising industry experts, consumer votes also counted in the selection of the winners in over the 18 categories covering the dental, aesthetic and media industry.

The competition was fierce. For the categories that I judged I agonised over the process, but I am confident that the best in each category won. It really was a great night for the industry and going home with such an important award for Oxygenetix was the cherry on the cake.‘ Barry Knapp, Oxygenetix.

On Knapp’s visit he also launched the new Oxygenetix Acne Control Foundation. This is the brands first treatment foundation product, which is clinically proven to treat acne whilst concealing the condition.

This new product launch is the next step in the company’s strategy to make Oxygenetix the leading choice of foundation worldwide, not just for the post-procedural market, but also for the dermatology market.
