Eclipse, a leading medical supply company, is enhancing and expanding the Eclipse PRP® product line to meet the growing needs of practices offering platelet-rich plasma procedures.

The company is introducing the all-new Eclipse PRP® HC kit featuring a 22 mL high-concentration tube. The new tube will yield an average of ~11 mLs of platelet-rich plasma. In addition, the popular 10 mL tube has been increased to an 11 mL size that yields approximately ~6 mLs of PRP.

Also being released tandem with the PRP tubes, the company is offering the all-new Eclipse Easy Spin® Centrifuge. With multiple-size tube holders, the centrifuge offers flexibility for platelet-rich plasma providers who want to process the new, larger 22 mL or 11 mL tubes from one unit.

The Eclipse PRP® system is fast, effective, simple to use, requires minimal steps, and allows for customizable concentration. “The new Eclipse PRP® HC tube, larger standard tube and additional centrifuge will allow practices more options to meet the varying needs of their patients,” said Tom O’Brien, CEO and Founder of Eclipse. “Both tubes also offer an incredible value. You get both quantity and quality. Eclipse PRP is a lower price per mL when compared to many other PRP kits on the market.”

Eclipse PRP® is an autologous system that has been featured in national media.  The easy-to-use, all-in-one kits allow physicians to prepare platelet-rich plasma. The PRP is optimally concentrated with the highest platelet yield of ~90%. These systems have been safely used in hundreds of thousands of procedures worldwide.

“The feedback we’re receiving is tremendous,” Mr. O’Brien said. “Doctors have shared that they love the ease and simplicity of both the new PRP tubes and dual-size Eclipse Easy Spin® centrifuge. As PRP becomes medical mainstream, it is clear that these Eclipse products have come of age.”

Regulatory Status FDA cleared 510(k) Class II medical device.
