Main programme

Under the supervision of three scientific directors, Drs Pierre André, Thierry Besins, and Claude Dalle (France), the AMWC 2014’s highly comprehensive programme will cover all aspects of global ageing management.

Advanced academic and clinical sessions will be presented by over 350 internationally acclaimed and enthusiastic faculty experts from over 95 countries. Among these experts, two special guests are Dr Zoe Diana Draelos, Dermatologist (USA), and Dr Patrick Tonnard, Plastic Surgeon (Belgium).

Aesthetic dermatology and surgery

New understandings with clinical implications, and practical tips and tricks will feature in a number of advanced sessions and live demonstrations covering the aesthetics of the whole body, including ‘Upper Face and Regard’, ‘Lower Face and Neck, The Ageing Nose’, ‘Lips and Smile’, ‘Hands and Arms’, ‘Beautiful Legs’, ‘Body Reshaping’, ‘Beautiful Hair’, and more.

All aesthetic techniques are not without complications. The session ‘It Could Happen to You!’ will address practical information to handle or avoid complications ranging from patient selection and dangerous facial areas, to common and rare complications.

Two sessions will specifically explore the subject area of lasers and energy‑based devices both using basic and advanced information. The ‘Rejuvenation: Bio-Flexible Protocols’ presented by the LED Academy (France) will tackle different aspects of bio‑flexibility and light therapy.

Different ‘FOCUS’ sessions on the ‘Nose tip’, ‘Labial Commissures and Marionette Lines’, ‘Rings Under the Eyes’, ‘The Temples’, and ‘Tail of the Eyebrow’ have an objective to make a point on all the techniques to improve the concerned zone. Tips and tricks are presented alongside reference techniques.

Meet the challenges of the changing world

Regenerative medicine has been rapidly transferred into clinical practice. The ‘PRP and Regenerative Medicine’ and ‘Fat Injection: From Tissue Regeneration to Cell Therapy’ sessions will address essential information and factors for success regarding clinical applications in aesthetic medicine.

The newest technologies will be presented by experts in the session ‘New Energies, New Technologies: How do They Work?’ A session will focus on using cold in medical treatments including cryotherapy, lipolytic treatment, and neuromodulator and regenerative tools.

As medical practice is also a business, two marketing sessions will address critical information in running your clinic as a professional and optimising search engine and social media marketing to improve and maintain
your reputation.
