The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the largest plastic surgery specialty association in the United States, has renewed its exclusive endorsement of CareCredit, a leading provider of promotional healthcare financing to consumers. Since 2004, CareCredit has been the only patient financing company endorsed by the ASPS and the new multi-year agreement builds on this 12-year partnership. CareCredit is accepted by the majority of U.S. private practice ASPS members for their patients.

“The decision to reaffirm our endorsement of CareCredit is a reflection of strong cardholder and provider satisfaction, exceptional customer service to our members and their patients, along with their nearly 30 years of healthcare financing experience,” said Michael D. Costelloe, J.D., executive vice president, ASPS. “The growth in demand for plastic surgery procedures, both elective and reconstructive, continues to drive a need for medical financing options, and this agreement ensures continued, outstanding service for our members and their patients for years to come.”

“We are extremely honored to extend this agreement and be recognized as the exclusive financing partner of the ASPS,” said Greg Pierce, SVP and General Manager, CareCredit. “We continue to evolve our services and product offerings to meet the needs of ASPS members and their patients by making it easy and affordable to pay for surgical and non-surgical care by board certified physicians.”

CareCredit’s Cardholder Engagement Study, conducted in Q2 of 2015* by a third party, confirms cardholders continue to be highly satisfied with their CareCredit credit card, consistently rating it favorably across a number of areas including:

•    Nine out of 10 (90%) cardholders said they were satisfied with CareCredit;
•    95% of cardholders rated CareCredit as a good, very good or excellent value;
•    84% of cardholders would recommend CareCredit; and
•    Nearly half (49%) of cardholders would have postponed or not moved forward with the complete recommendation for a procedure if CareCredit had not been available.
